I CAN LOVE GOD!

At some point in our lives we ask the questions: what am I doing with my life and what am I looking for in life?

We are all seeking something. Something that will make us happy. A deep enriching enduring happiness that reaches our very core.

A happiness that satisfies me, the eternal spirit soul inside this body made up of temporary matter.

All of the revealed scriptures give the same answer.  The way to achieve this spiritual happiness is by reviving our loving relationship with the Supreme, with Krishna, with God.

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind”.

And in the Bhagavad Gita, the Supreme Lord says: “To those who are constantly devoted and worship Me with love, I give the understanding by which they can come to Me”. (BG 10:10)

But how do we love God? How is this possible?

My spiritual teacher Jagad Guru Siddhaswarupananda Paramahamsa knows himself to be the humble servant of God and wants to help others love God, just as his spiritual teacher helped him love God, and his spiritual teacher before him.  Any spiritual knowledge I can impart is because of him.

God, Krishna, is non different from His Holy Names
God, Krishna, is on my lips when I sing and say those Holy Names
He is in my heart when I meditate on those names

I often find myself awake at night
in a silent room, when others are deep in slumber

In the quiet of the night when the birds are asleep
In the quiet of the night when the crickets sing
In the quiet of the night when the day is done

Before I drift asleep
I think of Krishna;
His Beauty, His activities, His greatness, and His softness.

I am not alone.  God is with me in my heart, He never leaves me. He is always my best friend.

I am a simple person but I can experience and have a relationship with God and see His presence in the heart of all living creatures, my brothers, my sisters

God IS real.  I can know God.  I can love God.  We can all love God.

This is what will bring us true happiness. This is the goal of life!

 “Loving the Lord my God with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my mind”.
